I’m not sure about all of you but due to holiday binging (on both food AND drink!) I am currently carrying about 5 extra pounds, my skin is a mess, and my energy is zapped!  I’m not ready to stop indulging completely but here’s the plan to get me through the holiday and (hopefully) get me back to normal in time for New Year’s:

While at home-

  • at least three runs around the lake by my parents’ house (that means 10 miles in 4 days… ambitious for my lazy self these days!)
  • a glass of water for every alcoholic beverage consumed (and I’m going to try as hard as possible to not drink soda while I’m at home)
  • as much fiber and fresh produce as possible

Once I’m back in Chicago-

  • daily workouts while I’m on break
  • this two day cleanse (might extend to three… December 28, 29 and 30)

What are other ideas to manage the havoc the holidays wreak on our bodies?
